Hello and welcome to the JSS web site. 

Junipero Serra School is a wonderful elementary and junior high school that services students from many different parishes and cities in our local area. I am very proud to be a part of a school that has such a history behind it. 

We have an excellent staff, all truly dedicated to the well being of our students. We have wonderful parents very much involved in their student’s school life. We offer a stimulating academic curriculum which exceeds state standards, a fabulous campus steeped in California’s history, a library, several new facilities including an updated technology classroom and gymnasium, a performing arts department that is equal to many area high schools, an art docent program whose students have won awards in local art shows, an excellent sports program, and an extended care program that students beg to attend. We also offer our students off campus learning opportunities such as field trips to the Gold Country, Washington, D.C., and Science Camp for our 6^th graders.
