| Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade Applicants |
|
Second through Eighth Grade Applicants |
| The Admissions Office will contact you after the application
has been received to arrange a date for the basic skills assessment.
This assessment consists of the evaluation of math skills, vocabulary, oral reading, writing, and reading
comprehension. At the time of the assessment, a non-refundable $100.00 payment must be made. |
|
| Please send copies of report cards for the last two years
as well as copies of any standardized test scores (i.e. SAT, CTBS, STAR, etc.). |
| | | | | | |
| After the applicant's file is complete and the basic skills assessment is
scored, an interview will be scheduled. Both the applicant and the Parent/Guardian should plan to attend the interview. |
|
| Have the recommendation forms (i.e.: Math, English, and Well
Acquainted Adult) completed by the appropriate persons and returned directly to Junipero Serra School.
We have found that this works best when a stamped, addressed envelope is attached to the form. |
