Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade Applicants   Second through Eighth Grade Applicants
The Admissions Office will contact you after the application has been received to arrange a date for the basic skills assessment. This assessment consists of the evaluation of math skills, vocabulary, oral reading, writing, and reading comprehension. At the time of the assessment, a non-refundable $100.00 payment must be made.     Please send copies of report cards for the last two years as well as copies of any standardized test scores (i.e. SAT, CTBS, STAR, etc.).

After the applicant's file is complete and the basic skills assessment is scored, an interview will be scheduled. Both the applicant and the Parent/Guardian should plan to attend the interview.     Have the recommendation forms (i.e.: Math, English, and Well Acquainted Adult) completed by the appropriate persons and returned directly to Junipero Serra School. We have found that this works best when a stamped, addressed envelope is attached to the form.
